The characters in the Powerclash world can be divided into three cohorts: the Players, the Civilians, and the Core.

1. The Players are the 125 humans who have been gifted unique superpowers. The contestants in the Powerclash. They’re divided into five teams. Each team is assigned a different color and loosely themed around an element force. Additionally, each team starts the contest based in a different continent. The five teams are as follows:

Each team is led by an initial team captain selected by the Core and the twenty-four players that the team captains have recruited. (Twenty-five members per team, one hundred and twenty-five players in total.)

2. Civilians are all the sentient beings in the world who are not Players.

3. Finally, the Core is a group of alien entities that orchestrates the Powerclash contest. Anyone who writes a Powerclash story exists within the world as a ‘narrator’ in the Core.
