3. Backstory – Gathering Era
We know that this character is part of the Yellow Team, which means that they were recruited by the Yellow Team captain, Law. And we also know that Law‘s method of recruitment was paternal procreation (his children were born with powers) – so we know that they are Law’s child.
We don’t yet know who their mother was.
We know that Law gathered most of his children to Skye Manor, but that some (strays) eluded him and some (runaways) escaped the Manor. But this character did neither, they stayed with Law and became part of the Clanna.
We don’t yet know how old they were when Law took them from their mother, or how exactly that happened..
They are one of the Senior Clannamates, the Gallowglass, with significant responsibilities in the family business.
4. Powers
Superpower wiki: Soul Magic
Clay can draw the soul energy out of living creatures when they die, and trap it in jars.
Clay can then shape it into traps which are invisible to the naked eye. These traps can trigger physical machines, or attack people directly. The type of soul used in the trap determines its effectiveness; the soul of a tiger would cause more damage to a person, but the soul of a person could perform more complex tasks.
Clay’s masterwork is the soul dome that sits over Skye Manor.
When attacked by a soul trap, the victims own soul can be damaged, potentially severing their connection between mind and body. Victims are left unconscious and paralyzed until their soul recovers.
