L-Day: The blue crystal landed before Dyer, a fisherman out at sea in Sho. It gave him the power to control other people’s emotions.

Team style: Loosely centralized, cynical religious, and public.

Gathering: As a solitary fisherman, it took Dyer some time to understand that he had been gifted with a superpower, so recruitment got off to a slow start. Once he understood the scope of his power, he abused it – making people feel overwhelming awe in his presence and demanding they worship him as a living god. Similarly, he didn’t initially realize that his sexual partners were gaining superpowers, so to start with they were selected purely on attractiveness, before he began to pick his recruits more strategically.

S-Day: When the S-Day announcement came, the Blue Team were spread all over Hahnunah. They all owed fealty to Dyer, but had been allowed individual freedom to pursue their own goals and ‘bring glory’ to their master.
